II) Collection of personal data when visiting our web site

1. Stability and security of the web site

In principle, you can use our web site without telling us who you are. If you do not register or provide us with any information in any other way, we will only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. These following data are technically necessary for us and ensure the stability and security of the web site (the legal basis is art. 6 (1.1) lit. f GDPR – legitimate interest):

2. General information about the use of cookies

     This web site does not use cookies.

3. Use of Matomo

We use Matomo (formerly Piwik) for web analytics, a service of InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, NZBN 6106769, ("Matomo"). The protection of your data is important to us, which is why we have also configured Matomo in such a way that your IP address is only recorded in abbreviated form.

No cookies are used for web analysis with Matomo. Instead, your IP address is anonymised immediately after collection, so that no conclusions can be drawn about you. This specifically means that the IP address is shortened before it is stored and processed. This rules out any unambiguous identification of web site visitors.

The processing of data takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR in the anonymised analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise and improve our web site.

You have the option of objecting to Matomo's anonymous data collection at any time. You can do this by activating the "Do Not Track” setting in your browser. Matomo will then no longer record your visits.

When you contact us by e-mail or via the contact form, the personal data you provide, such as your e-mail address, will be processed to respond to your request.

We process the information used to contact you on the basis of art. 6 (1.1) lit. b GDPR – to fulfil a contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures, and, if necessary, on the basis of art. 6 (1.1) lit. f GDPR – legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is to answer your concerns.

We will delete the data arising in this context when the storage is no longer necessary or restrict the processing if there are any statutory retention obligations. If there are other legal reasons for longer storage, we will retain the data until these legal reasons expire.

Under the provisions of the GDPR, you can assert the following rights against us:

Right to information in accordance with art. 15 of the GDPR

V) Storage period

The criterion for the duration of the storage of personal data is the respective statutory retention period. At the end of this period, the corresponding data will be routinely deleted if they are no longer necessary for the fulfilment or initiation of the contract and no legal reasons allow a longer storage.

We process your data exclusively in Germany.

VII) Disclosure of your personal data

We will pass on your personal data only to bodies that need your data to fulfil our tasks. This may require service providers to support us. In doing so, we will comply with the data protection regulations. Your personal data may be passed on to the following recipients in particular:

We have no influence on their operators' compliance with data protection regulations and therefore assume no responsibility if the information provided there is not correct, up-to-date and complete. The RPS website may contain hyperlinks to web sites that are the property of third parties and are operated by third parties. These third-party websites have their own privacy policies, they probably use cookies and we recommend you to check them.
